What People With Parkinson’s Are Doing: Clara Majors

At 79 years of age, Clara Majors did not know what
Parkinson’s disease was.  Unfortunately
for her, in July of 2017 she had to quickly learn about the disease when she
was diagnosed.  She attended several
Parkinson’s related conferences and at the encouragement of her doctor, she

diagnosis does not define you. This is a motto that encompasses how Gene Werner
lives his life with Parkinson’s.  Prior
to being diagnosed at the age of 71, Gene worked in several different
fields.  He has a Bachelors in Nursing
and Masters in Public Health.  He retired
around the age of 70 ready to enjoy life with his wife.
